Coccinella is an IM client that includes a virtual whiteboard- and it just might be what you need at times to get everyone on the same page and brainstorm through complex problems. Take a look!

what is Coccinella?

It’s an instant messaging client, like AIM or MSN messenger, only with a shared whiteboard element. You can draw a drawing on your side, and that drawing will be sent to the person that you are messaging- who can in turn add to the drawing, and you will see the results- all interactively. Pretty handy tool.
