Scaling Back

There’s good news in my life lately I wanted to share- and with that good news comes an unfortunate and necessary impact.  Life is full of checks and balances.

The news is that as of tomorrow, I have been promoted to Director of Software Development at my company.  It’s a considerable promotion from my previous position, and one that I’m proud to have received.

To balance this wonderful thing in my life, though, comes a more difficult one.  In the name of maintaining sanity in my life as I take on this new responsibility, and in the name of continuing to bring value to the blog, I am cutting back.  I have been posting daily with new content ever since I moved the blog to the new site.  I will now be posting on the following schedule:  Monday, Wednesday and Saturday will be new posts in general.  Friday will continue to be PMS relief (after all, I have to unwind sometime).  Sundays, I will repost from the old blog site some of my better articles, usually with some edits to bring them up to date.

I do, of course, reserve the right to post more often (it’s my place, after all), but I’m reducing my commitment here to make sure that I have time to write something of quality- or at least, as much quality as I usually manage.

Thanks for your continued attention and support!
